Bio: Carly Bangs is a multidisciplinary artist and art director working mainly in the areas of film, photography, fashion, painting and design. Her work deals with documentation, examination and distortion of her immediate world versus the outside world. Her projects explore the re-appropriation and deconstruction of familiar imagery in order to form new representations of the everyday. Thereby constructing new meaning in universal ideas and iconography.
