Description
Toronto based artist Donna Marie Sved was born in Brooklyn. Her years in New York – with access to national galleries, museums, and private galleries – introduced her to all forms of art. Now she is part of the society who evokes and creates the depiction of feeling by artistic expression.
Her first painting was based on the following poem that she wrote in 2005.
“What shadows are in front of me,
I am drawn into the light.
What shadows are behind me,
I leave into the night.”
