Linda’s work deals with notions of identity, diaspora and displacement. Through integrating the disciplines of graphic design and illustration with fashion, her artwork performs as critical commentary on social and psychological themes and narrates personal reflections.
Having lived most of her life in the Middle East before moving to Toronto, has allowed her to view her own culture as an outsider for the first time. The cultural, intellectual and visual shift has engendered a series of experimental projects that look at her being from the positioning of intellectual exile.
