Brockton Presents: Take AKA Bamboo – From Street

Date & Time

Thu, Jan 16 2014 - Mon, Jan 20 2014 @ 8:00 pm

Description

The constant evolution of art is something to admire. It’s never the same and it takes many forms. Take AKA Bamboo pushes those boundaries by blending realism with graffiti.

Originally from Japan and a graduate of TAMA Art University, Take AKA Bamboo has been both a student and teacher. He has participated in art competitions, group shows and even had a few solo shows. A recent addition to the Toronto Artistic community,  Take AKA Bamboo has been busy creating and exhibiting works. His approach focus on art that can be enjoyed by all. When creating his works he dedicates a great deal of his time in the undercoating process to ensure long lasting art pieces.

Join us Thursday January 16th at Brockton Collective for a peek at Take AKA Bamboo’s works as he shows off a selection of paintings both new and old in this solo exhibition.
This event is by invite only and RSVP is mandatory. You must be on the guest list to attend.

The pieces exhibited will be available for sale and will remain up and available for viewing by appoitment from the January 17-20 from 10AM-9PM.
